The Point of Single Contact Hessen can help with many procedures. The number of administrative procedures that you can complete using it is constantly increasing. There are, however, a few procedures where some aspects of your application can be handled via the Point of Single Contact and some cannot. This applies to driving school licences, for example. You can apply for the necessary business notification through the Point of Single Contact, but unfortunately not for the required licence, as this has yet to be provided for in the appropriate law. In a case like this, although you can choose the 'Driving school licence' option, only the business notification can be submitted online. Please contact the appropriate office to obtain the licence. There are, however, many licence procedures where the complete application can be dealt with via the Point of Single Contact Hessen. This currently applies to the following procedures:

• Restaurant licence
• Estate agent, loan or capital investment broker, investment advisor, property developer, construction supervisor, insurance broker, financial assets agent
• Transport permit (waste transport)
• Parade of persons
• Surveillance licence
• Pawn shop licence
• Auction licence
• Licence to operate a private hospital
• Gaming facility licence
• General licence for the installation of gaming machines with the opportunity for profit (as a business)
• Licence for organisation of other games with the opportunity for profit
• Acknowledgement of the suitability of the location of a gambling machine
• Licence for commercial handling and use of explosive substances
• Licence to acquire and to handle explosives(non-commercial)
• Granting of exemption certificate for private fireworks
• Storage of explosives (storage facility licence)
• Clearance certificate according to section 34 1. of the Explosive Act
• Arms trade licence
• Arms manufacturing licence
• Licence for activity with pathogenic germ
